Role Description

The HR Manager will oversee and manage all human resources functions concerning field operations for construction projects. This position requires extensive coordination with site teams, implementation of HR policies, compliance, talent acquisition, and employee engagement, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and deployment of field staff directly, ensuring adherence to company policy (no third-party hiring or recruitment charges). Serve as the main HR contact for all field and on-site personnel, addressing grievances, managing attendance, and resolving issues. Develop and implement HR processes for field teams, including payroll, leave management, and statutory compliance as per labour laws. Handle verification of job offers and recruitment authenticity, responding to queries via official channels ([HIDDEN TEXT]). Conduct regular site visits for employee engagement, performance tracking, and welfare activities. Train field supervisors on HR policies, code of conduct, and workplace safety requirements. Manage talent acquisition pipelines for skilled labour, site engineers, and field support roles, coordinating with project management. Maintain and update field employee records; facilitate effective communication between management and field staff. Uphold organisational culture and standards at all project sites, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical norms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws, statutory regulations, and field HR management.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software, payroll management, and field data tracking.
