Role Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Billing, Planning & Tendering Engineer with a minimum of 6+ years of extensive experience in the infrastructure and construction sector. The role will involve handling pre-bid estimations, preparing accurate billing documentation, tender submissions, and overseeing project planning activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government tendering processes, EPC contracts, and infrastructure project management. This position will be based at our Head Office in Vijayapura , with occasional travel to project sites as required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Billing: Prepare, verify, and process client bills and subcontractor bills in line with contract terms and work progress. Validate measurement sheets against project drawings and work executed on-site. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and accounts departments to ensure timely payments. Manage documentation for variation orders, cost escalations , and claims related to billing. 2. Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project , and other planning tools. Prepare resource allocation plans (manpower, machinery, materials) to optimize productivity. Conduct progress tracking and generate periodic reports for management review. Assist in identifying critical paths and risk mitigation strategies to avoid project delays. 3. Tendering & Pre-Bid Estimation: Conduct a thorough review of tender documents, drawings, and BOQ. Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and overheads for EPC, government, and private tenders. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for bid proposals. Prepare pre-bid queries, technical clarifications, and documentation for submission. Ensure compliance with government tendering norms and technical requirements. 4. Contract Administration: Draft and review contractual agreements with clients and subcontractors. Ensure compliance with terms of the contract, including adherence to project timelines and financial clauses. Handle disputes and claims in consultation with legal and management teams. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters degree preferred for planning roles). Experience: Minimum of 6+ years of proven experience in billing, project planning, and tendering within the infrastructure or construction industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, MS Excel , and ERP systems. Strong understanding of MoRTH specifications and government EPC contracts. Analytical & Managerial Skills: Excellent problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills. Proven ability to manage teams and coordinate across departments.
