Job Description – HR Intern (Onboarding & Induction Support)
Role Summary
The HR Intern will support the **Team HR** in ensuring smooth and timely onboarding of new employees. The role involves coordinating induction activities, managing physical documentation, and assisting in various HR operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding Support
* Assist Team HR in completing **pre-onboarding formalities**.
* Coordinate with new hires to collect required documents.
* Help create and maintain employee onboarding files.
* Support in generating employee codes/IDs as required.
2. Induction Coordination
* Schedule and organize **induction sessions** for new joiners.
* Ensure all new employees attend the induction programs and receive necessary information.
* Assist in taking feedback from new joiners post-induction.
3. Physical Documentation
* Collect, verify, and file **employee documents** (ID proofs, academic certificates, address proof, etc.).
* Maintain and update physical personnel files as per HR guidelines.
* Ensure proper documentation compliance and secure record-keeping.
4. HR Operations Assistance
* Support HR team in daily operations and administrative tasks.
* Assist in updating HR trackers, spreadsheets, and databases.
* Coordinate with internal departments as needed for onboarding activities.
Skills & Qualifications
* Pursuing or completed **Bachelor’s/Master’s degree** in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good organizational and documentation abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
* Eager to take initiative and learn HR processes.
