Job Description

As a Compliance Officer, your main responsibilities will involve tracking compliance, ensuring knowledge of local labor and employment regulations, and documenting all statutory compliances. It is essential to adhere to the time frames established by the Department of Human Resources (DHR) and work closely with DHR or designated departmental coordinators for training initiatives. This includes maintaining records of training attendance, conducting departmental self-audits, and liaising with recruitment agencies for candidate updates. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating work experience programs, recording exit interviews, and providing feedback on turnover reasons. Adherence to pre, during, and post-employment documentation checklists is crucial. You will also play a key role in initiating programs that promote good work relations, such as social clubs and consultative committees, as well as maintaining employee files and managing database information. Your communication skills will be vital for interacting effectively with customers, employees, and third parties, reflecting positively on the hotel, the brand, and the company. Proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel and PowerPoint is required, along with problem-solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities. Strong writing skills are also essential for this role. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration. Ideally, you should have 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar supervisory role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. It is important to maintain a comprehensive, current, and team member-focused set of departmental standards and procedures while overseeing their implementation through ongoing training. You will also be responsible for preparing and administering detailed induction programs for new staff, as well as regularly communicating with staff and fostering good relations within the team.,
