Job Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, payroll coordination, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to design and implement HR strategies that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Acquisition

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for all levels.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions.
  • Maintain strong talent pipelines for future workforce needs.

2. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, retention initiatives, and cultural programs.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and drive positive workplace culture.

3. Performance Management

  • Implement and manage the performance appraisal process (monthly/quarterly/annual).
  • Work with department heads to create goal frameworks and development plans.

4. HR Operations

  • Maintain HRMS data, employee records, attendance, and leave management.
  • Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, and exit procedures.

5. Compensation & Payroll Coordination

  • Coordinate with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage salary revisions, increments, and benefit programs.

6. Policy & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory regulations (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment, etc.).
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.

7. Training & Development

  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for employee development.
  • Track effectiveness of learning initiatives.

8. HR Reporting

  • Prepare regular HR dashboards and MIS reports on hiring, attrition, performance, payroll, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA/PGDM preferred (HR specialization).
  • 4–9 years of HR experience, with minimum 2 years in a managerial or lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR operations, labor laws, and recruitment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience with HRMS tools and MS Office.
