Job Description

Role Overview:

The HR & Parent Relations Officer will manage human resources functions and serve as a key communicator between parents and the management team. This role ensures smooth HR operations while also supporting effective parent communication, addressing concerns, and building trust to enhance the overall child and family experience at the center.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parent Communication & Relationship Management

  • Act as the first point of contact for parents regarding center policies, staff updates, and general communication.
  • Coordinate between therapists, management, and parents to ensure clear and consistent updates.
  • Address and document parent concerns or feedback, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Support parent engagement activities, meetings, and workshops.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end hiring process for therapists, educators, and support staff.
  • Conduct orientation and onboarding for new staff, including sensitization to child and parent communication protocols.

3. Employee Engagement & Welfare

  • Build a supportive workplace environment for staff.
  • Mediate in staff-parent communication challenges if required.
  • Organize staff recognition and welfare programs.

4. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs (both HR-related and parent-relations skills).
  • Arrange workshops for staff on communication, child-safety, and best practices.

5. Compliance & Policy Management

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and child safety regulations.
  • Maintain updated policies for HR and parent communication.
  • Keep accurate records of staff and parent-related interactions.

6. Performance & Administrative Support

  • Monitor attendance, leave, and performance management processes.
  • Support payroll coordination and HR documentation.
  • Provide management with monthly HR and parent feedback reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in HR, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, counseling, or client relationship roles (experience in education/healthcare preferred).
  • Excellent communication, listening, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and patience to handle parent concerns.
  • Ability to balance HR responsibilities with external communication duties.
  • Fluency in English and Telegu is an advantage.

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Work closely with therapists, educators, and management to align parent and staff communication.
  • Handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
