Job Overview We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Python Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software and delivering impactful features. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full software development lifecyclefrom design and development to testing and production deploymentensuring top-tier code quality and performance. Responsibilities This is an opportunity to be a key contributor in an agile, fast-paced environment, working on cutting-edge technologies including Generative AI and scalable backend Responsibilities : Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Python. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver new features and improve existing functionality. Own the end-to-end delivery of features and components, ensuring quality through automated testing and code reviews. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best software engineering practices. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues with a focus on stability, scalability, and reliability. Design and implement database models and queries with an emphasis on performance using SQL-based databases. Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Contribute to architectural discussions, help evaluate technology choices, and propose innovative solutions. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the Skills & Qualifications : 3 to 6 years of hands-on software development experience using Python and its libraries/frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Django). Strong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Proficiency in SQL including schema design, writing complex queries, and optimizing database performance. Hands-on experience with GIT for version control and working with branching/merging strategies in collaborative environments. Solid understanding of software engineering best practices such as test-driven development, CI/CD, and code reviews. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
