About the Role
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in driving end-to-end HR processes across recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee retention for the Food Tech Business. The HRBP will anchor HR process control through city HR Associates, ensuring seamless HR operations across multiple locations. The role requires strong business partnering skills with hands-on involvement in people management, talent acquisition, statutory compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage city-wise manpower planning and requirements across Corporate, Central Kitchen, and Satellite Kitchen locations
- Drive end-to-end recruitment through city HR Associates & City Operations Managers, including sourcing, screening, selection, pre-employment checks, and offer rollout
- Enable cost-effective, skill-wise hiring in our Central and Satellite Kitchens (Commis 1/2/3, Supervisors, Managers)
- Monitor grievance redressal mechanisms for fixed-term employees (FTCs) and implement employee engagement interventions through city HR Associates to drive retention
- Handle vendor onboarding, service-level agreements, for all HR-related services
- Oversee performance management for all FTC employees, ensuring timely contract renewals and appraisal rating finalization
- Ensure collection and validation of monthly payroll related inputs through cross functional stakeholder management, and subsequent payroll processing in a timely manner
- Ensure statutory compliance related to payroll including PF, ESIC, PT, Labour Welfare Fund, etc.
- Drive HR process control across multiple cities through effective management of HR Associates
- Support short- to medium-term projects as per business requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in QSR, cloud kitchen, or food retail industries
- Hands-on experience in opening new stores/outlets with thorough knowledge of recruitment challenges in the industry
- Proven ability to run payroll, manage statutory compliances, and handle end-to-end HR processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Knowledge of HR systems, attendance tools, and HRMS platforms preferred
