HR & Talent Acquisition Associate Internship

About the Role

Key Responsibilities (End-to-End HR Operations)

1. Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for junior and mid-level roles, including job posting, resume screening, and candidate sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn and job boards.
  • Coordinate complex interview schedules and act as the main communication liaison between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Assist in offer letter generation and managing pre-onboarding formalities.

2. HR Administration & Documentation

  • Own and maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records, personnel files (hard and soft copies), and HR databases.
  • Draft and manage standard HR documents, including joining formalities, offer letters, employment contracts, and exit documentation.
  • Assist in gathering monthly data for payroll processing (e.g., leaves, attendance).

3. Daily HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Conduct new employee orientation and manage the smooth onboarding process, ensuring all logistical needs are met.
  • Act as the first point of contact for routine employee queries regarding HR policies, documentation, and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating employee engagement activities and internal team communication.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience:

    Fresher or up to 6 months in an HR/Recruitment internship or role.
  • Education:

    A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Organization:

    Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail (crucial for documentation and records).
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and comfort with professional correspondence.
  • Technical:

    Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel/Google Sheets for data management) and familiarity with using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS is a plus.

Good to Have

  • Basic understanding of Indian labor laws or statutory compliance.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
  • Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
