Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR Recruiter to manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing to onboarding, for our steel manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in hiring for technical and non-technical roles in a plant/industrial environment and must be familiar with blue-collar and white-collar hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, offer negotiation, and joining coordination.
  • Handle recruitment for all levels including shop-floor, technical, engineering, and support staff.
  • Source candidates through job portals, campus drives, social media, referrals, and consultancies.
  • Coordinate with departmental heads to understand manpower requirements and job specifications.
  • Maintain candidate database and recruitment trackers.
  • Issue offer letters, appointment letters, and coordinate background verification.
  • Ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding process including documentation, induction, and joining formalities.
  • Maintain recruitment MIS and generate weekly/monthly reports.
  • Assist in employer branding and recruitment drives.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in recruitment and onboarding, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry.
  • Knowledge of recruitment tools, portals, and HRMS software.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and compliance related to hiring and onboarding.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in handling both technical (engineering, production, maintenance) and non-technical roles.
  • Ability to manage bulk hiring and contract labor recruitment.
  • Fluency in local language and English.
  • Understanding of industrial workforce culture and challenges.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
