HR Officer

We are a leading Overseas Education Consultancy firm, Span International Education, established in 2008 with our corporate office located at Thrissur and branches in Kochi and Thrissur. We are currently seeking a dedicated HR Officer to join our team in Thrissur. This role is specifically open for female candidates. As the HR Officer at our company, you will be instrumental in managing the internal team and ensuring the seamless operations that align with the business's objectives. The ideal candidate for this position should have at least 1 year of experience in an HR role within a study abroad company. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is recommended. In addition, a solid grasp of labor laws and HR best practices is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in MS Office and HR software, integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism are qualities we value in our HR Officers. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and onboarding. - Maintain and update employee records using HRIS systems and personnel files. - Support the implementation of HR initiatives, policies, and procedures. - Coordinate employee training and development activities. - Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters. - Support performance appraisal processes and probation reviews. - Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable labor laws. - Assist in organizing staff engagement activities and company events. - Prepare reports and documentation as required by the HR Manager. - Proficiency in HR Tools like GreytHR, Zoho People, etc., is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone and internet reimbursement. The work schedule is during the day, and the candidate should be based in Thrissur, Kerala, working in person.
