HR Managerial Role - Special projects

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: Head HR

Position Overview:

This role plays an important role in driving strategic functions, which are generally outside the routine HR operations. Responsible for leading and supporting strategic HR initiatives that drive organizational transformation, process improvement, and innovation. This role involves managing cross-functional projects, implementing HR technology solutions, and supporting change management efforts across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to support business goals through strategic HR planning.
  • Lead and manage strategic HR projects that support organizational transformation, process improvement, and innovation.
  • Design and implement HR technology solutions to enhance efficiency, employee experience, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational structures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic HR initiatives, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of HR-related strategic projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to proactively introduce innovative HR solutions.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Implementing HRIS systems & LMS platforms (at Admin level), data analytics, compensation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in project-based or strategic roles.
