Job Title : Senior Consultant- IT & Telecom Number of Positions : 1 Responsibility Summary : Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society, Government of Chhattisgarh invites applications from enterprising and aspiring candidates for the position of Senior Consultant IT & Telecom. Chhattisgarh InfoTech Promotion Society (CHiPS: www.chips.gov.in ) is the nodal agency and prime mover for propelling IT growth & implementation of the IT & e- Governance projects in the State of Chhattisgarh. CHiPS is involved in the end-to-end implementation of mega IT Projects like BharatNet SDC, SSDG, SWAN, GIS, SETU, e-Procurement etc. Government of Chhattisgarh through its nodal agency Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS). The network shall be leveraged to deliver scalable bandwidth to education institutions, Government offices Senior Consultant IT & Telecom will be majorly responsible for managing/ monitoring/ Implementation/ Operation & Maintenance of Infrastructure Project like BharatNet, Bastarnet, SWAN, SDC (State Data Center), wifi etc. The resource should have experience for IPMPLS Technology, Ring topology fiber network, Management & maintenance. The candidate should be result-oriented individual, capable of managing multiple stakeholders, vendors and processes. Job Description: The scope of work Of Senior Consultant IT & Telecom position shall be responsible for audit of Active and Passive Infrastructure, Preparation of DPR, Preparation of RFP, Monitoring of Deliverables, Contract Management related activities etc, that may be necessary for efficient and successful implementation, Operations and Maintenance of the project. The Scope of Work for the proposed engagement will primarily consist of the following, but not limited to-: Act as the primary point of contact between all stakeholders, including government officials, contractors, vendors, and local authorities. To conduct regular project meetings, update stakeholders on project progress, and address issues that may arise. Managing stakeholder expectations as per deliverables mentioned in Request of Proposal/ Agreement and that communication remains open and transparent. To ensure allocation and efficient utilization of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Review the required changes to the project scope, timeline, or resources utilization Identify potential risks and come up with mitigation plans. Track project milestone, SLA (Service Level Agreement) and contractual obligation Resolve any identified/ unidentified issues that may affect project delivery. Ensure compliance of Infra projects as guidelines stated in RFP / Agreement during the planning, design, and implementation phases. To implement quality control procedures to verify that infrastructure meets performance, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, including contracts, agreements, project progress, and Change management. To perform financial audits, project completion, and handover procedures. Conceptualization of Project along with its viability Note:- Any other work assigned/approved by CEO, CHiPS Mandatory Qualification: Educational qualification: B.E./ B. Tech. or M.E./ M. Tech recognized by or under the regulations. Experience : At least 10+ year experience. Out 10+ years, candidate must have experience of 5+ years in e- Governance Project Network for any State Govt/ Central Govt./ PSU or any Govt entity Monitoring SLA/ Project Deliverables as per Master service agreement Leadership skills to coach/mentor/motivate associates under him/her. Should able to Manage Multiple Stakeholder requirement Documentation and Report creation based on requirement of Project Should able to address operational issues and provide quick and relevant solutions. Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills with ability to exhibit and instil confidence in team members. Strong technical background, ability to understand the technical requirement to HLD (High Level Design) and LLD (Low level Design) Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED UNTIL 23-05-2025 only
