HR Manager (Plant)

Job Title: Plant HR (Male applicants only)

Location: Ulberia, West Bengal

Working Days: 6 Days/Week

Experience: Minimum 5+ Years in Plant HR / Manufacturing HR

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Plant HR professional to manage end-to-end HR operations at our manufacturing facility. This role requires someone who is ready to take on challenges, work beyond the comfort zone, and act as a strong partner to both management and employees.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage end-to-end HR operations at the plant – attendance, payroll inputs, statutory compliance, and employee records.

· Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary matters to maintain workplace discipline.

· Proactively manage conflict resolution and foster a culture of trust, fairness, and collaboration.

· Drive recruitment & onboarding for plant roles in coordination with management.

· Ensure compliance with labour laws, Factories Act, and statutory requirements.

· Liaise with government officials and labour authorities as required for compliance, inspections, and statutory matters.

· Promote and embed company culture and values across all levels of the workforce.

· Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and training programs for workforce development.

· Support leadership and workforce alignment through effective HR policies and practices.

· Prepare and maintain MIS, reports, and HR documentation for audits and internal reviews.

· Lead initiatives for performance management, productivity improvement, and workforce discipline.

Candidate Requirements

· 5+ years of proven experience in Plant HR/Manufacturing HR.

· Strong knowledge of labour laws, compliance, and factory HR practices.

· Experience in liaising with government officials and handling statutory inspections.

· Demonstrated expertise in conflict resolution, employee relations, and people management.

· Ability to align HR practices with company culture, values, and long-term vision.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

· Not suited for “comfort zone” or “money-minded” individuals – we are looking for passion-driven professionals.
