Job Description

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for both site and office staff, which includes laborers and administrative personnel. This involves conducting interviews, collaborating with department heads, and ensuring timely hiring. Additionally, you will oversee onboarding and induction programs for new employees. In terms of employee relations and engagement, you will address any grievances that arise and strive to maintain a positive work environment. Regular site visits will be conducted to engage with the workforce, and you will also be tasked with organizing training and development programs for employees. Ensuring compliance with labor laws, including regulations related to PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements, will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of site workers, contracts, and attendance to meet legal standards. Handling dispute resolution and collaborating with legal consultants, if necessary, will also fall within your purview. Furthermore, you will manage attendance, leave records, and overtime calculations for site workers. As part of the performance management process, you will assist in conducting performance appraisals, establishing KPIs for employees, identifying training needs, and facilitating skill development programs. Requirements: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in the construction industry. - Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance regulations within the construction sector. - Experience in managing blue-collar workforces. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with HRMS software. - Previous experience in safety and compliance training. - Proficiency in the local language to enhance communication with site workers. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. Applicants must be willing to commute or relocate to Ernakulam, Kerala, before commencing work. A minimum of 1 year of experience in HR is required for this role.,
