Job Description

Position Summary

The Human Resources professional in the oil and gas industry is responsible for managing workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with industry-specific labor, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role supports operational teams in both field and office environments to ensure that HR policies and practices align with company objectives and meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute hiring strategies for field, technical, and corporate positions.
  • Coordinate with operations and project managers to understand manpower requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles (e.g., drilling, HSE, maintenance, engineering).

2. Workforce Planning

  • Support project-based manpower forecasting for exploration, production, and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor rotation schedules, crew changes, and mobilization/demobilization processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local content requirements where applicable.

3. Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns in both site and office locations.
  • Foster positive labor relations and manage grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to engage with field personnel.

4. Performance Management

  • Implement performance appraisal systems aligned with operational KPIs.
  • Support managers in goal-setting, feedback, and development planning.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate technical and compliance training.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Manage payroll changes, allowances, overtime, and field compensation structures.
  • Support development of competitive salary structures aligned with industry benchmarks.
  • Administer benefits such as medical coverage, travel allowances, and rotational leave.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹57,000.00 per month
