Job Opportunity: HR Executive

Organization: Shivalik College of Engineering, Dehradun

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated HR Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working in an educational institution (college/university/school) and be familiar with academic HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruitment and onboarding of faculty and non-teaching staff
• Coordinating interviews, demos, and selection processes
• Maintaining employee records and HR documentation
• Handling attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
• Managing compliance-related documentation (AICTE/UGC/University norms)
• Supporting training, induction, and employee engagement activities
• Acting as a liaison between management, faculty, and staff

Required Skills & Experience:

• Prior HR experience in an educational institution is mandatory
• Good knowledge of academic hiring and faculty recruitment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Familiarity with HR policies, compliance, and institutional norms
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic HR software
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a structured environment

Qualification:

• MBA / PGDM in HR or relevant qualification preferred
