HR Executive (Generalist)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced HR Executive with a solid background in the manufacturing industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations including policy creation, payroll management, and end-to-end recruitment , while ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a productive work culture. Key Responsibilities: Policy Development: Draft, implement, and regularly update HR policies in line with company goals and labor regulations. Ensure all policies are clearly communicated and adhered to by employees. Payroll Management: Oversee monthly payroll processing with accuracy and within deadlines. Manage attendance, leaves, and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.). Coordinate with finance for salary disbursements. Recruitment & Onboarding: Handle the complete recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer roll-out. Develop job descriptions and post job openings on appropriate channels. Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation. Employee Relations: Resolve employee issues and grievances professionally and confidentially. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR documentation. Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements. Coordinate with consultants for audits, returns, and legal updates. Requirements: Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Proficient in payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel). Strong knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
