Principal Functions
Selection, Recruitment & Orientation:
- Preparing JDs with the support of Director of Operations.
- Providing announcement of recruitment
- Shortlisting the candidates for the positions
- Fixing interviews with the candidates
- Maintaining process documentations of the recruitment
- Maintaining HR individual files for all the staff members
- Tracking the details of staff / consultant contract period.
- Preparation of staff / consultant contract.
- Conducting telephonic interviews
- Managing the orientation and onboarding process
Facilitation Of Appraisal Process / Conflict Of Interest
- Manage records and maintain effective documents for probationary appraisal.
- Managing and maintaining documents for annual appraisal
- Facilitating the process of appraisal
- Facilitating to resolve the conflicts among staff.
Capacity Building, Telent Management
- Finding out the need for Capacity building of staff
- Creating a learning culture in the organization
- Facilitating talent management
- Implementation of retention strategy.
Policies Revision & Implementation
- Supporting DOO in revising the HR Manual
- Supporting DOO in designing new HR policies
- Implementation of systems & processes
Administration of Leave
- Maintaining documents for leave
- Preparing monthly report for leave taken, Updating information
Logistical Support
- Providing logistic support in every aspect for organizing various meetings, training, seminar, workshop etc.
- Maintaining updated information of staff in Bamboo HR and action plans as requested.
- Support the team in other related duties as needed, Conducting different survey based on the requirements.
- Any other task assigned by the FAM/ Director of Operations/ ARD.
Organization Development
- Mapping out the areas of organization development
- Preparing a road map for the same with consultation of DOO
- Work on the implementation of the areas of OD along with DOO
Internal Relationships
- Senior Management Team, Program Team of India, HR & Admin Team
External Relationships
- Donors, Vendors
- Consultants (External & Internal)
- Auditor, Local Partners NGOs
Qualifications
Education requirement
- Completed a degree in HR Management
Experience Requirements
- Approx. 3 to 5 years of experience in any sector. Experience in development sector will be preferred.
Knowledge and skills
- Strong, developed knowledge in HR, Effective as a team player.
- Writing and speaking skills in English, and Hindi., Well able in written and oral communications and presentation skills, Highly organized and analytical thinker.
- Self-starter with strong initiatives, Proactive, creative problem-solver; and Flexible and productive under pressure.
Behavioral competencies
- Responsible, dedicated, independent workers, Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, Cross-cultural sensitivity, Friendly and flexible.
