Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role is pivotal in driving HR strategies, fostering employee engagement and partnering with business leaders to achieve organizational goals. As a trusted advisor, you will play a key role in shaping a positive work environment, ensuring process compliance and delivering impactful HR solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership:

    Collaborate with functional and departmental managers to provide expert guidance on HR best practices, employee relations, talent management, development strategies and organizational policies. Support leaders in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations Coaching:

    Counsel and coach managers on performance management, employee engagement and conflict resolution. Provide actionable recommendations to address employee-related concerns while ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • HR Operations Support:

    Act as a liaison with the HR Service Center, Payroll to manage processes related to payroll, benefits, leaves, and other HR operations. Ensure seamless execution of HR services.
  • Talent Management:

    Assist managers with smooth onboarding of new hires, conducting exit interviews, and analyzing turnover data. Take ownership of key HR metrics for your client area, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to drive improvement.
  • Work Council Collaboration:

    Build strong relationships with the work council, ensuring smooth approvals for terminations while maintaining trust and transparency.
  • Policy Implementation:

    Provide expertise in executing corporate policies and HR programs, ensuring adherence to agreed quality standards and compliance requirements.
  • Analytics Insights:

    Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, forecast workforce needs and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Use metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and recommend improvements.
  • Knowledge Sharing:

    Actively participate in cross-functional communication, sharing best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes across the organization.
  • HR Collaboration:

    Partner with other HR teams to ensure the seamless operation of ongoing HR practices and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A masters degree in human resources (2-year program) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, or an advanced degree with equivalent work experience.
  • Proven expertise in HR functions such as employee relations, talent management, learning and organization development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR metrics, generate insights and drive actionable outcomes.
  • Experience working with work councils and managing approvals is a plus.
