What We Are Looking For

We are primarily looking for someone who is used to working in hospitality as the position requires understanding of how operations work. You are good with people and have a positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.

You are also comfortable with systems and administrative tasks and with managing a little team and keep them motivated.

The role…

Ø Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping Department to include appropriate cleaning of all offices, bedrooms, seating areas, washrooms, restaurants, suites, and all public spaces.

Ø Supervise and coordinate the activities of the team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department.

Ø Conduct periodic walk-through of the hotel. Tour public areas and grounds to ensure the appearance of such areas reflect highly on the hotel, brand, and company.

Ø Lead, develop, motivate and empower employees to deliver operational best practices.

Ø Accountable for managing the annual budget, capital expenditure projects, staffing and adhering to Soho House guidelines.

Ø Consistently come up with product and service improvements as well as ways to generate new business.

Ø Plan, organize and direct the team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.

Ø Establish and maintain accurate inventory records.

Ø Assure that equipment is properly maintained and meets health and safety requirements.

Ø Report, order and replace damaged items or inventory that is not sufficient.

Ø Conduct, capture and track daily room and public area inspections.

Ø Recruit, schedule and train all new housekeeping team members.

Ø Expert in Housekeeping and excellent knowledge of all departments internally.

Ø Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of employees, hotel guests and property.

Ø Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency of safety situations.

Ø Ensure proper handling of guests. Protect their privacy and confidentiality.

Ø To ensure the Company culture is visible in all aspects of the business.

Ø Ensure that company reporting systems are adhered to.

Ø Comply with all Company policies, standards and local laws.
