Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team at HOTEL VIDYA RESIDENCY. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong background in housekeeping and customer service.

Roles and Responsibility

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in guest rooms and public areas.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues.
Maintain accurate records of room assignments, inventory, and staff performance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experiences.
Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene.
Train and mentor new staff members on housekeeping procedures and best practices.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Room Attendant or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
Ability to lift heavy cleaning equipment and supplies, and stand for long periods.
Familiarity with hotel management systems and software is an asset.
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
