Housekeeping Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operations & Hygiene Management

• Ensure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly across all assigned properties.
• Implement and monitor hygiene and cleanliness standards as per company guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Team Management & Training

• Recruit, train, and manage housekeeping staff, including supervisors and attendants.
• Conduct regular training programs on cleaning procedures, chemical usage, and safety protocols.
• Monitor staff performance, resolve grievances, and implement productivity improvement plans.

Inventory & Cost Control

• Manage housekeeping inventory, including cleaning supplies, linen, and consumables.
• Ensure cost-effective usage of materials while maintaining service quality.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and service contracts. Resident Experience & Issue Resolution
• Ensure quick response and resolution of housekeeping-related complaints from residents.
• Maintain clear communication with the Front Desk and Operations teams for smooth service delivery.
• Implement periodic deep-cleaning schedules and preventive maintenance checks.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain records related to housekeeping audits, staff attendance, and inventory consumption.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and escalate deviations.
• Work with the Facility Management team to address any escalated hygiene concerns.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum

  5 to 8 years of experience

  in

  housekeeping operations

  , preferably in

  healthcare/hospital/hospitality industry

  .
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of hospital hygiene and infection control practices preferred.
