Job Description

General Responsibilities:

 Responsible for planning, organizing and developing of the overall operations of the housekeeping department in accordance with the standards, assuring the highest degree of quality guest care is maintained at all times.
 Ensures compliance with the departmental BRISOP.
 Train associates to achieve the standards in the guest room, public areas and the back of the house area.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Be well versed with entire housekeeping operations, laundry and public area.
 Conduct daily inspections of all areas including guest rooms, public areas, restaurants and the heart of the house.
 Coach, counsel and follow through on disciplinary action.
 Adhere to department training calendar and ensure individual training identification needs are reported timely.
 All guests of the assigned area are met and report guest comments and feedback.
 Make sure assigned areas are maintained to the highest standards.
 Involve in the inventory of the guest supplies, cleaning supplies, linen and any others related to operations.
 Ensure all equipment is well taken care of and maintained by associates.
 Monitor super cleaning of one room per section from Housekeeping Executive.
 Assist with the daily briefings and monthly departmental meetings.
 Monitor and control the usage of guest supplies.
 Report engineering maintenance deficiencies that require immediate attention and follow up on their status.
 Oversee and ensure that all Lost and Found items are handled as per resort policy.
 Ensure all housekeeping cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored properly.
 Inspect all VIP rooms’ timely check all stay over and vacant rooms to make sure service standards and cleanliness are maintained as per resort standards.
 Perform any other duties as assigned by the Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
 Reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper any loss or damages of furniture, fixture or equipment.
 Ensure assigned area associates are exposed to constant training and development with the latest trends and standards.
 Maintain a high level of employee morale through ongoing trainings and employee activities.
 Responsible for achieving a score of 90% in RENARD audit for complete Housekeeping operations and take necessary action for the shortcomings for standard compliance.
 Identifies and analyzes operational challenges and finds solutions with the help of Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
