Role Overview

Seeking a proactive and organized House Manager to oversee the smooth, daily operation of a private residence or estate. This role requires hands-on management of staff, property, and all household activities with efficiency, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coordinate schedules for household staff including housekeeping, cooks, drivers, and maintenance personnel.
• Oversee all daily operations of the house to ensure seamless functioning.
• Manage household budgets, monitor expenses, and coordinate bill payments.
• Maintain inventories, place orders for groceries and supplies, and ensure all household needs are met.
• Plan, organize, and supervise special events and family gatherings.
• Liaise with vendors, service providers, and contractors for property maintenance and repairs.
• Guarantee that the house is always tidy, well-maintained, and secure.
• Address and resolve household issues or emergencies as they arise.
• Implement and refine household policies and procedures.
• Assist with travel arrangements and scheduling for the household if required.
• Maintain absolute privacy and discretion regarding all household matters.
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Prior experience as a House Manager or in a similar hospitality/property management role is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets, perform administrative tasks, and keep accurate records.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
• Qualification: Minimum 12th pass; Graduation or Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel Management is an advantage.
• Flexibility to travel or manage duties in different Indian locations as necessary.
