Location: Nerul, Navi Mumbai
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Reporting To: Executive Chef
Client Profile: High Net-Worth Individual (HNI) – Strict Jain Vegetarian

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Chef to join a private culinary team serving an HNI client in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will work under the guidance of an Executive Chef and specialize in preparing a wide variety of authentic Jain vegetarian dishes, adhering strictly to Jain dietary principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in daily meal preparation and kitchen operations
• Prepare diverse Jain meals including traditional, fusion, and health-conscious options
• Ensure all ingredients and cooking methods comply with Jain dietary restrictions (no onion, garlic, root vegetables, etc.)
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, presentation, and taste
• Innovate and experiment with Jain recipes to offer variety and seasonal menus
• Support in grocery planning, inventory management, and kitchen cleanliness
• Accommodate client preferences and feedback with professionalism and discretion

Requirements

• Proven experience in Indian vegetarian cooking, preferably Jain cuisine
• Familiarity with Jain dietary laws and cultural sensitivities
• Ability to work in a private household setting with confidentiality and respect
• Culinary training or relevant certifications preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt under the supervision of the Executive Chef
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Nerul, Navi Mumbai
