Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and efficient Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of our Offbeat resort property of 23 Rooms. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the front-of-house and back-of-house operations, leading a team of department heads, and driving exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the overall operations of the resort, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
2. Revenue Generation: Lead and provide effective ways to generate revenue for the functionality of the resort.
3. Guest Experience: Drive exceptional guest experiences through effective communication, prompt issue resolution, and proactive service delivery.
4. Communication with Travel Agency: Communicate and confirm bookings by engaging with various travel agencies.
5. Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, and maintenance.
6. Budgeting and Cost Control: Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
8. Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
9. Communication: Foster effective communication among departments, staff, and guests.
10. Problem-Solving: Resolve operational issues promptly and efficiently.
11. Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports to Head Office
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a resort or hotel environment.
3. Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in hospitality software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office
