Job Description

Minimalist Hotels is a growing boutique hospitality brand that focuses on design-driven stays, sustainable practices, and exceptional guest experiences. We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Hotel Manager to lead our Udaipur property and deliver a seamless blend of operations, guest satisfaction, and team management.



Key Responsibilities


Operations & Guest Experience

• Oversee smooth day-to-day hotel operations across rooms, F&B, housekeeping, and front office.

• Ensure exceptional guest communication and problem resolution with a focus on delivering memorable experiences.

• Maintain property standards in line with Minimalist Hotels’ design and service philosophy.


Financial & Cost Control

• Monitor budgets, operating expenses, and implement cost-control measures without compromising guest experience.

• Manage vendor negotiations and inventory control for supplies and F&B.

• Track revenue and assist in meeting monthly performance targets.


Team Management

• Supervise and motivate hotel staff across departments to ensure productivity and guest focus.

• Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional growth.


F&B & Guest Services

• Overlook F&B operations to maximize quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Work closely with the culinary and service teams to maintain standards and elevate dining experiences.


Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Manage statutory requirements and maintain licenses, audits, and certifications.


Additional Responsibilities

• Support marketing and brand initiatives at the property level (events, collaborations, promotions).

• Implement guest feedback mechanisms and act on improvement areas.

• Provide regular reporting on operations, costs, and performance to senior management.



Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Hospitality or equivalent experience.

• 4–6 years of hospitality experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.

• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, F&B, and guest relations.

• Proven ability in cost management, vendor negotiations, and team leadership.

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) and guest handling abilities.

• Tech-savvy with exposure to PMS, POS, and online hotel booking channels.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle diverse operational challenges.
