Hotel General Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the operations of our 4-star property in Daman. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a customer-first mindset to ensure exceptional guest experiences while achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee overall hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning across rooms, F&B, front office, housekeeping, and guest services.
• Guest Experience: Maintain high service standards, handle escalations, and ensure consistent guest satisfaction scores.
• Revenue Management: Drive occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR through effective pricing strategies, upselling, and revenue optimization.
• Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of all departments.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads and staff to achieve operational excellence and deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, licensing, and safety protocols.
• Sales & Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to promote the property, develop business strategies, and build corporate & travel agent relationships.
• Operational Excellence: Implement SOPs and best practices to maintain the highest standards of service, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.
• Owner Relations: Provide regular updates to ownership on performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years as a General Manager in a 4/5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, P&L management, and guest service standards.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure, resolve conflicts, and drive results.
• Strong business acumen with a focus on revenue growth and cost efficiency.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Daman, Daman and Diu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hotel management: 6 years (Required)
