Hotel Contracting

Role Overview: You will be responsible for contracting the best rates by comparing all options available in different markets. Additionally, you will provide support to various markets by offering adhoc rates and managing inventory. Your role will involve monitoring competitors' actions and strengths to take appropriate counter measures. It will be your responsibility to update all markets on rate issues regularly and negotiate and update products accordingly. You will also provide feedback on hotel inspections/FAM and finalize rate contracts in consultation with your superiors. Collaboration with the Tariff team to ensure all rates are fed into Xplor for operational usage will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will study brochure programs, analyze rates, contract/re-contract, and suggest alternates to enhance business profitability and guest experience. Key Responsibilities: - Contract the best rates after thorough comparisons in all markets - Provide support to different markets with adhoc rates and inventory - Monitor competitors' actions and strengths to implement counter measures - Update all markets on rate issues regularly - Negotiate and update products based on market requirements - Coordinate with the Tariff team to ensure all rates are fed into Xplor for operational usage - Analyze brochure programs, rates, and suggest alternatives for enhanced profitability Qualification Required: - Graduate/PG in Tourism Management - 5-10 years of experience in costing, rate contracting, and calculation with knowledge of tax structure - Strong negotiation and purchasing skills - Proficiency in competition analysis - Industry and geography knowledge - Understanding of different markets/sectors - Excellent communication and PR skills - Strong decision-making abilities Please note: Interested candidates can share their updated CV at hr@sita.in.
