Job Description

ey Responsibilities:Quality Management & Accreditation:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor the hospital’s Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with NABH/JCI/ISO accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits; prepare for accreditation and certification visits.
  • Review and update hospital policies, SOPs, and quality manuals regularly.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Indicators (QIs) across departments.

Patient Safety & Risk Management:

  • Implement and monitor patient safety programs, including incident reporting and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Promote infection control practices and clinical governance initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.

Training & Capacity Building:

  • Conduct regular staff training and awareness programs on quality, patient safety, and accreditation standards.
  • Guide departmental quality coordinators and support the formation of quality teams.

Data Management & Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect, analyze, and report quality-related data for performance review.
  • Facilitate regular Quality Committee meetings and present audit outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and coordinate Quality Improvement Projects (QIPs).

Communication & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with heads of departments, nursing teams, and clinicians to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Liaise with external agencies, auditors, and accreditation bodies.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Allied Health Sciences.
  • Preferred: Master’s in Hospital Administration (MHA), MBA in Healthcare Management, or equivalent.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in hospital quality management.
  • Prior experience with NABH/JCI accreditation process preferred.
  • Certifications:
  • Certified NABH Assessor / Internal Auditor (preferred).
  • Training in Quality Management or Patient Safety desirable.
  • Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent knowledge of healthcare quality standards and clinical governance.
  • Strong analytical and audit skills.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
