POSITION DETAILS :

Job Title : HORECA Sales Executive (Food Industry)

Location : Hyderabad, India

Department : Sales & Marketing

Reports to : Sales Manager / National Sales Head

Employment Type : Full-time

Work Experience : 1-5 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target hotels, restaurants, catering services, and institutional buyers within the Bengaluru region.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key HORECA clients, including decision-makers such as chefs, purchasing managers, and business owners.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand the customer base in the HORECA segment.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular market visits to promote products, introduce new items, and maintain relationships.
  • Present product demonstrations and provide detailed product knowledge to customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize profit while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote new products, special offers, and events.
  • Provide feedback from customers and market insights to the product development and management teams.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, market analysis, and forecasting to the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the network.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Proven experience in HORECA sales or business development within the food industry.
  • Strong understanding of HORECA market trends, competitors, customer needs, and buying behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients such as chefs, purchase managers, and business owners.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and focused on achieving sales objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of food products, ingredients, and culinary trends.
  • Experience in product launches, marketing promotions, and sales activations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
