Hogan Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Hogan Developer with a strong understanding of the Hogan core banking system and expertise in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and mainframe environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hogan modules such as CIS (Customer Information System), Deposits, or Loans and a solid track record of supporting and enhancing mission-critical banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement enhancements and bug fixes in the Hogan banking system.
• Work on Hogan batch and online processes, leveraging COBOL, JCL, CICS and VSAM.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional and technical requirements.
• Provide support for production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and best practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to Hogan modules and application processes.
• Work closely with QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in migration and integration projects involving Hogan and other banking platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Hogan system development and support.
• Proficient in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF.
• Good understanding of Hogan architecture, modules, and control language.
• Experience with one or more of the Hogan modules like CIS, Deposits, ODS or Loans.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills in a mainframe environment.
• Experience with change management and incident tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
