Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities

This role focuses on achieving procurement value through strategic management across four key pillars:

  • Category Strategy & Sourcing (50%):

    • Develop and execute end-to-end sourcing strategies for IT spend, including

      consulting, telephony, hardware, software, SaaS, and print/document management

      .
    • Lead cross-functional sourcing projects and deploy innovative strategies to increase procurement coverage and drive value.
    • Act as a business partner to IT leaders, translating their needs into strategic sourcing plans.
  • Contract & Supplier Management (40%):

    • Manage relationships with key IT suppliers, including developing joint business plans.
    • Lead negotiations and collaborate with Legal/IT/Risk teams to draft and redline complex contracts.
    • Monitor supplier risk and performance, implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Stakeholder & Financial Alignment (10%):

    • Engage with internal IT stakeholders across multiple business operating companies.
    • Coordinate with IT leaders during the annual budget process to align spending patterns with organizational goals.
    • Ensure the realization of value creation targets for cost savings and avoidance.

Candidate Required Profile

Education & Experience (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 8+ years

    of relevant

    Category Management

    experience is required.
  • An

    Undergraduate Degree

    in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Economics, Business Management, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in

    IT Procurement

    or

    IT Category Management

    is essential (based on the job title and focus).

Key Skills & Competencies (Preferred)

  • Strong knowledge in

    Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, and Supplier Relationship Management

    .
  • Proven expertise in

    Negotiating and Influencing

    skills.
  • Proficiency in

    Data & Analytics

    and

    Risk Management

    related to third-party engagements.
  • Knowledge of Procurement Tools & Processes and Project Management methodologies.
  • A Graduate Degree in a similar field and Sourcing/Supply Chain certifications are preferred.
