About the role:

HVAC Estimator

Role Description:

• Review project drawings, specifications, and documents to prepare detailed HVAC cost estimates.
• Perform accurate material take-offs and quantity calculations for HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, chillers, AHUs, VRF systems, pumps, valves, and controls.
• Evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations and create cost comparison reports to support decision-making.
• Prepare and submit detailed estimates, proposals, and budgets for client approvals.
• Collaborate closely with design engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.
• Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor costs to provide up-to-date and competitive estimates.
• Maintain a database of historical project costs and supplier performance for reference in future estimations.
• Assist in value engineering initiatives to optimize costs while maintaining project quality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and company policies during the estimation process.
• Support project handover by providing accurate cost documentation and scope clarifications to the execution team.And all other tasks as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HVAC estimating, MEP projects, or construction cost estimation.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, MS Excel).
• Knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and project budgeting.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to interact with vendors, contractors, and project teams.
• Ability to work under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

Rs. 300,000 to Rs. 360,000
