Headmistress

The Head Mistress will serve as the academic and administrative leader for the schools primary and middle segment. She will be responsible for driving academic excellence, ensuring high-quality teaching standards, guiding teachers, and fostering an engaging and disciplined learning environment. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on involvement in curriculum implementation and student development.

2. Key Responsibilities
A. Academic Leadership

Oversee implementation of curriculum, lesson plans, and academic calendar across all grades.

Ensure teaching methodologies are modern, child-centric, and aligned with the schools vision.

Monitor classroom delivery, student performance, and academic outcomes regularly.

Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.

Lead the development of assessments, evaluations, and academic improvement plans.

Ensure adherence to CBSE academic standards and guidelines.

B. Teacher Management & Development

Recruit, mentor, and train teachers to maintain a strong academic culture.

Conduct regular training workshops, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.

Help teachers design lesson plans, teaching aids, and activity-based learning practices.

Foster a positive, collaborative environment among the academic staff.

C. Student Growth & Discipline

Ensure a safe, supportive, and structured environment for all students.

Mentor students on behaviour, discipline, attendance, and academic performance.

Address academic concerns of students and parents with empathy and clarity.

Promote co-curricular participation and holistic development.
