Role Description


Headmistress


The Headmistress will:


  • Oversee the academic and operational functions of the Middle School.
  • Provide instructional leadership and ensure the seamless delivery of the curriculum.
  • Mentor, inspire, and evaluate teaching staff to maintain high pedagogical standards.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence within the school community.
  • Establish strong channels of communication with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative, student-centered learning environment.
  • Implement policies that align with the school’s ethos of holistic education, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead co-curricular initiatives that support the intellectual, cultural, and emotional growth of learners.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • A strong academic background in Science (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science is mandatory).

  • A master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Curriculum Development, Pedagogy, and Assessment strategies.
  • Proven track record in Educational Leadership, preferably as a Headmistress/Head of Department/Coordinator in a reputed school.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with students, parents, and faculty.
  • Strong commitment to creating an inclusive, safe, and progressive school environment.
  • Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into everyday learning.
