Head Teacher

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate

  in Montessori / NTT / ECCE

• Experience

  in a

  Pre-Primary/Preschool

  setting following

  International Boards (IB PYP preferred)

• Demonstrated leadership with direct reports (assistant teachers, caregivers)

Responsibilities:

• Design & Deliver Engaging, Child-Centered Curriculum

Craft and implement brain-responsive, inquiry-driven lesson plans that honor each child’s developmental stage, interests, and learning style—infusing storytelling, movement, creativity, and socio-emotional growth throughout the day.

• Foster a Joyful, Values-Based Classroom Culture

Create an emotionally safe, inclusive, and aesthetically inspiring environment where purposeful exploration, mutual respect, and joyful learning are foundational to everyday experiences.

• Mentor & Collaborate with Teaching Teams

Lead assistant teachers through intentional planning, real-time modeling, and reflective feedback, nurturing a culture of shared ownership, open dialogue, and continuous professional growth.

• Observe, Document & Guide Holistic Development

Conduct ongoing observations and maintain detailed portfolios to track developmental progress, inform instruction, and engage families through thoughtful assessments and goal-setting conversations.

• Partner Deeply with Families

Build trusting, two-way partnerships with families through consistent communication, collaborative strategies, and meaningful involvement in their child’s learning journey both at school and home.

• Champion Environment, Safety & Professional Excellence
