Position: Head – Quality Control (Solar Projects)Location: JaipurDivision: ProjectsDepartment: Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)Reports To: Head – ProjectsEmployee Type: White-CollarSalary: As per industry norms Required Experience & Knowledge:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldExperience: 5–7 years of experience in QA/QC roles, with at least 3 years in solar EPC or utility-scale solar projectsIndustry Background: Strong preference for candidates from solar EPC companies or large infrastructure firms handling solar projects Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the quality control function for all solar project sites across regionsDevelop, implement, and maintain quality plans, checklists, and inspection protocols as per project and regulatory requirementsEnsure adherence to IS/IEC standards, MNRE guidelines, and client-specific quality requirementsSupervise quality inspections at various stages: module mounting, cable laying, inverter installation, structure alignment, earthing, etc.Monitor and control non-conformance issues, initiate root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actionsReview quality documentation such as WIRs (Work Inspection Requests), MIRs (Material Inspection Requests), and QAPs (Quality Assurance Plans)Liaise with third-party inspectors, clients, and internal teams for audit readiness and project handoversConduct regular training sessions for site engineers and contractors on quality best practicesDrive continual improvement in QA/QC processes using data, inspections, and field feedback Skills Needed:Strong knowledge of solar project components (modules, inverters, cables, structures) and construction standardsFamiliarity with relevant QA/QC tools, NDT methods, and testing techniquesExcellent leadership, team management, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to analyze quality data and implement actionable improvementsProficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, and QC documentation software General Competencies:Meticulous attention to detail and process orientationAbility to enforce standards and influence site teams positivelyStrong communication and report-writing skillsWillingness to travel to project sites as neededCommitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement Apply Now!If you're passionate about quality and have a track record of ensuring engineering excellence in solar projects, apply with your updated resume.
