Position: Head – Government Liaison & Compliance (Solar)Location: JaipurDivision: ProjectsDepartment: Government Affairs & ComplianceReports To: Director – ProjectsEmployee Type: White-CollarSalary: As per industry norms Required Experience & Knowledge:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Administration, Law, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related fieldExperience: 5–7 years of experience in government liaison, statutory approvals, or regulatory affairs in the infrastructure or renewable energy sectorIndustry Background: Strong preference for candidates from solar, power, or infrastructure projects with a strong network across state/central departments Key Responsibilities:Act as the primary interface between the company and government authorities at central, state, and local levelsObtain timely approvals, clearances, and permits required for solar project execution (e.g., land conversion, CEIG, DISCOM approvals, RoW)Build and maintain strategic relationships with officials in MNRE, SECI, DISCOMs, state nodal agencies, and pollution control boardsTrack policy and regulatory updates impacting renewable energy projects and keep internal teams informedEnsure documentation compliance for statutory filings, applications, and representationSupport in resolving regulatory issues or bottlenecks through structured follow-ups and escalationsCollaborate with legal, project, and land teams for aligned execution of compliance tasks Skills Needed:Deep understanding of solar project approval processes and relevant regulationsExcellent rapport-building and negotiation skills with government stakeholdersStrong documentation and follow-up skillsKnowledge of regulatory frameworks including MNRE, SECI, CEA, SLDC, CEIG, DISCOM normsAbility to represent the company confidently in meetings and regulatory hearings General Competencies:Strategic communication and political acumenPersistence and tact in navigating bureaucracyStrong sense of responsibility and deadline adherenceEthical conduct and professionalism in external dealingsWillingness to travel frequently to meet officials and attend hearings Apply Now!If you have a proven track record in securing approvals and building government relationships for large-scale solar or infrastructure projects, apply now with your updated resume.
