Job Title: Head of Sales – HospitalityPosition Overview

The Head of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales strategies, and leading the sales team to achieve targets within the hospitality sector. This role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to position the company’s hospitality offerings—including rooms, F&B, banquets, events, and corporate tie-ups—as the preferred choice for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals across all hospitality verticals (rooms, banquets, corporate events, dining, long-stay, and MICE).
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet performance objectives and enhance productivity.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other business partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and emerging markets to expand the client base.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to design promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and seasonal offers.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Drive contracting, negotiation, and closing of high-value deals while ensuring profitability.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Represent the property/brand at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms.
  • Ensure a culture of customer satisfaction and service excellence across all sales touchpoints.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 8–12 years of proven sales leadership experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong network of corporate clients, event organizers, and travel trade partners.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and implement corrective measures.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, mentor, and manage a team.
  • Goal-driven, strategic thinker with a customer-first approach.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Growth in new client acquisition and retention rates.
  • Contribution to market share and brand positioning.
  • Team performance and productivity.
  • Customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
