Head of Quality Assurance

The Department Head - Quality will report to the Unit Head and should have a B.E. / B. Tech. from CIPET. Essential skills include strong communication skills, system audit knowledge, and SAP proficiency. As the Department Head - Quality, your responsibilities will include leading internal and external audits as per schedule, conducting ISO/ENV/QMS/SEDEX/SMETA Audits, and possessing thorough knowledge of lab equipment. You will also be responsible for providing testing certification of various materials, analyzing quality data, and initiating CAPA based on internal rejections, supplier rejections, and customer complaints. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, SQC, and various quality tools, monitor the quality system, update standard specifications, and focus on improving repeating non-conformance areas. Product development, trials, yield improvement, and process optimization will also be part of your role. You will be required to analyze quality deviations against standard specifications, revise specifications as needed, and take corrective/preventive actions in coordination with department heads. Setting quality objectives, ensuring their implementation, maintaining customer satisfaction, reducing complaints, and settling customer complaints will be crucial. Furthermore, you must ensure compliance with new policies and activities set by management, develop and implement quality plans, inspection plans, and sampling plans. Effective communication, leadership, adaptability, and result orientation with execution excellence are key skills and competencies required for this role.,
