Head of Quality Assurance

• Lead Quality across 4 plants, ensuring international compliance and customer delight.
• Manage and mentor a team of Quality Managers and Inspectors to build a culture of excellence.
• Establish and implement QMS, QA, and QC frameworks across all units.

Incoming & Vendor Quality

• Define and enforce vendor quality systems for raw materials (PP, PE, masterbatch, liners, accessories).
• Monitor supplier performance through audits, evaluations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure robust incoming material inspection protocols to prevent defects from entering production.

In-Process Quality

• Oversee process control and monitoring for tape extrusion, weaving, stitching, blown film extrusion, shaping, and welding.
• Implement advanced quality tools (SPC, SQC, mistake-proofing, FMEA, etc.) to ensure zero-defect manufacturing.
• Drive real-time problem-solving with 8D, CAPA, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Customer Quality

• Lead customer complaint resolution with structured CAPA and preventive actions.
• Build strong engagement with key global customers, ensuring proactive quality assurance and audit readiness.
• Monitor and report customer quality metrics (PPM, claims, returns) with measurable improvement.

Certifications & Compliance

• Ensure compliance and audit readiness for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, BRCGS, GMP, Food Safety.
• Act as Lead Auditor for internal/external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, TQM.

Ideal Candidate Background:

• B. Tech/B.E. in Textile / Polymer Engineering / Production Engineering as (Core technical base)
• Plus Fulltime MBA in Productions & Operations Management from a Premier Business School
• Plus 14-18 years of experience in Quality Systems, ISO, BRC, FSSC, or customer audits
• Within the FIBC or woven sack industry may be an advantage.
• Out an out Leader who can independently spearhead the department and manage customers.

Why preferred Base Degree:

1. Textile Technology / Textile Engineering:

   Most directly relevant since FIBC involves woven polypropylene fabric. Provides understanding of fabric construction, weaving, coating, lamination, tensile strength, and stitch integrity all critical to FIBC quality control.

2. Polymer / Plastic Engineering:

   Highly valuable because FIBC raw material is PP (Polypropylene). Knowledge of polymer behavior, extrusion, denier control, UV stabilization, and coating quality helps maintain product performance and durability.

3. Production / Manufacturing Engineering:

   Supports design and implementation of efficient workflows, in-process inspection, and defect minimization strategies. Important when the GM oversees large-scale, multi-line production with strict quality norms.
