You should have at least 15 years of experience in EHV Substation & Transmission Lines within the renewable energy sector. Your expertise should cover the following mandatory areas: Substation Engineering: You must possess in-depth knowledge of designing EHV systems for Renewable Projects such as Solar PV, Wind, and EHV Substations. This includes tasks like preliminary design, creating single line diagrams, layout planning, and specifying requirements for EHV Substations and Transmission Lines. Transmission Line / EHV Cables: Your responsibilities will involve reviewing and suggesting Route Surveys, Tower Schedules, and Profiles for EHV Lines. You should be capable of optimizing Transmission Line Losses, capacity assessment, and detailed engineering of Transmission Lines. Plant SCADA & PPC: You need to understand SCADA architectures for Wind and Solar projects as well as Substation Automation systems. Your role will also require involvement in Tendering and Detailing engineering of Wind, Solar SCADA, and Substation Automation systems. Grid Compliance Studies: Familiarity with PSSE and PSCAD modelling is essential. You should be well-versed in dealing with CTU, LDC, and the latest connectivity regulations published by regulatory bodies. Power Transformer / Reactor Engineering: You should have experience in tendering and detailed engineering of large Power Transformers. Understanding transformer design intricacies, type testing, and collaborating with manufacturers will be part of your responsibilities. Static VAR Generator and Harmonic Filter Engineering: Your tasks will include tendering and detailed engineering of SVGs and Harmonic Filters. You must also be familiar with type testing and optimal sizing of these devices. EDMS (Engineering Document Management System): You will manage project configurations on the designated system and provide training to external and internal stakeholders. Intra and Interdepartmental Responsibilities: Collaboration with various engineering disciplines like AC & DC electrical, civil, and structural teams is crucial. You will also work closely with project management to ensure seamless integration of electrical designs and address any challenges. Preparation of all Electrical SOPs for adherence by project/construction teams is another key responsibility.,
