Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on, visionary Head of Product & Technology to lead Dumroo’s product and engineering teams. This role is ideal for a senior technologist with a strong track record in building scalable platforms and a deep passion for building solutions that matter. You’ll work directly with the founders to drive the next phase of product innovation and go-to-market growth. This is a high-ownership leadership role that combines strategy, execution, and team building. You must be willing to invest sweat equity alongside us in building something extraordinary. Key Responsibilities 🚀 Product Leadership: Define and drive the product roadmap aligned with the company’s mission and vision. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through execution and launch. Translate educational pain points into intelligent, user-centric solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product-market fit and customer success. 💻 Technology Management: Architect and scale the core platform using modern, secure, and scalable technologies. Oversee AI integration, backend architecture, and cross-platform compatibility. Ensure platform security, data privacy (FERPA, COPPA, CIPA), and performance at scale. Lead system integration with school SIS, LMS, and external data systems. 👥 Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing product and engineering team. Establish agile workflows, code standards, and cross-functional collaboration. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and rapid iteration. Required Qualifications 12+ years of overall experience in software engineering or product development. Minimum 5+ years in a technical leadership role —preferably in a funded startup or a Fortune 500 company . Strong experience with SaaS product architecture, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. Proficient with modern full-stack technologies (e.g., React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS/GCP). Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration or LLMs (preferred). Experience leading remote, distributed teams. Comfortable working in U.S. Eastern Time Zone (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) . Preferred Qualifications Experience in EdTech, especially in the U.S. K–12 market. Familiarity with educational standards, assessments, or SIS/LMS integrations. Strong design thinking and product intuition. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with evolving priorities.
