Grade F - Office/ Core Responsible for creating, project managing, supporting and deploying offers for a specific market, leading the strategy development as well as the development of offers, tools and programmes for a specific category, channel or market, and leading the development of strategic offers globally.
Are you passionate about solving complex product, customer and business problems at scale? The Global Head of Process, Design & Interfaces is responsible for driving operational excellence, design innovation, and seamless collaboration across teams and functions. This strategic role ensures that processes are optimized, user-centric design principles are embedded, and interfaces within the organization and with external partners are handled effectively to enable the successful delivery of business outcomes. The ideal candidate will have proven record of creating and driving efficient and effective product development processes, background in agile product and tech delivery, and excellent people and customer management skills.

What you will deliver

  • Efficient and scalable program management processes that support critically important objectives of the product and tech team.
  • Enhanced user-centric design integrated across teams and products.
  • Strong strategic partnerships delivering measurable value and innovation.
  • Seamless collaboration and communication within the organisation and with external partners.
  • Contribution to cost efficiencies and alignment with organisational priorities
  • Represent bp pulse externally across product and technology innovation and EV charging ecosystems

Program Management and Process Optimisation:

  • Lead the program management process for bp pulse product and tech according to development framework.
  • Lead the Operating Plan Alignment and release process for the bp pulse operating plan.
  • Define, implement, and continuously improve core processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce bottlenecks, and ensure cross-functional coordination.

Partnerships & Innovation:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships to accelerate growth, bring value, and drive innovation.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities to inform innovation strategies.
  • Lead initiatives to pilot, scale, and implement innovative solutions that address business challenges and align with organisational priorities.

Design Leadership:

  • Oversee the integration of design principles into product development and organisational frameworks to enhance user experience and business impact.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Ensure the integration of design in the mission planning and operating plan process.

Interfaces Management:

  • Act as a key interface between the product organisation, sub-entities, regional teams, and external customers, ensuring clarity and alignment in roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Ensure the Alignment of the mission portfolio with the regional business leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships to foster collaboration and reduce silos across the organisation.

Strategic Alignment:

  • Partner with the leadership team to align process, design, and interface strategies with the broader organisational vision and goals.
  • Contribute to building a capability-led organisation that adapts to evolving market and business demands.

Leadership Development:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring the right capabilities are in place to deliver on priorities.
  • Drive a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Experience and qualification
15+ years of experience, with 10+ in digital product development.
  • Strong understanding of the EV charging industry and key players
  • Proven track record of process improvement and product delivery
  • Ability to work in flexible and highly commercially focused ways
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent university degree in STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics), business administration, economics, or comparable education.
