Head of Procurement

Role Overview: As the Head of Procurement at Naini Papers Ltd, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement purchasing strategies, manage vendor relationships, and optimize the procurement process to support the organization's goals and objectives. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability of raw materials, reducing procurement costs, maximizing shareholder returns, and driving digitization in procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: - Raw Material (RM) Procurement Management: - Ensure availability of chemicals and raw materials to meet production targets - Manage CAPEX costing, budgeting, and procurement for smooth production - Ensure timely availability of engineering spares to minimize unplanned downtime - Vendor Development: - Develop and manage ARC (Annual Rate Contracts) and long-term contracts - Identify and onboard new vendors for raw materials and other products - Maintain cost advantage through alternative supplier relationships - Maximizing Shareholder Returns: - Reduce procurement costs for chemicals and engineering materials - Realize the sale of various regular scrap materials - Procurement: - Procure materials and services at the right quality, quantity, price, source, and within timeline - Digitization: - Apply digital technologies, including SAP, to streamline and improve procurement processes Qualifications Required: - Education: Post Graduation/MBA in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Engineering, or related field - Experience: At least 20+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Management preferably from Pulp & Paper Industry Additional Details of the Company: Naini Papers Ltd is a leading player in the paper manufacturing sector with a production capacity of 1,30,000 tons per annum.
