MANDATORY CRITERIA
We are looking for core experience in B2B Product Marketing. THE ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead and scale the marketing function for a high-growth B2B Software Organisation. The ideal candidate will bring in 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing leadership, with strong expertise in Enterprise Technology Markets and a proven record of driving Brand Growth, Product Positioning, and Market Differentiation. This is a strategic role requiring a balance of Market Insight, Product Marketing expertise, and Leadership Capability.Span of Control: Create Marketing Roadmap for a B2B Product Organisation and own its executionQualification: MBA in MarketingExperience 10-15 years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Designation: Vice PresidentLocation: Thane Reporting to: COOJOB RESPONSIBILITIESProduct Marketing- Lead market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insights to guide positioning and differentiation.- Develop and maintain clear product messaging and value propositions tailored to enterprise buyers.- Partner with product management to define go-to-market strategies, launch plans, and sales enablement tools.- Create compelling collateral, case studies, and solution briefs that articulate business value and outcomes.Brand & Communication- Shape and strengthen the companys brand narrative and positioning in target markets.- Lead corporate communications, PR, analyst relations, and industry event participation.- Champion content marketing initiatives such as whitepapers, webinars, and thought leadership programs.Strategic Leadership- Define and execute the end-to-end marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.- Position the company as a category leader in the B2B software space through brand building and thought leadership.- Partner with executive leadership to ensure marketing priorities are aligned with sales, product, and customer success goals.Demand Generation & Growth- Drive pipeline growth through integrated campaigns, events, partnerships, and account-based marketing.- Collaborate closely with sales to ensure lead quality, conversion, and ROI.- Establish and track KPIs for campaign performance and customer acquisition.Team Leadership- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team spanning product marketing, demand generation, and communications.- Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and cross-functional collaboration.- Manage relationships with external agencies and ecosystem partners.CANDIDATE PROFILEExperience and Competencies- 10-15 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.- Strong background in product marketing and go-to-market execution for enterprise software/SaaS.- Demonstrated success in brand building, demand generation, and sales enablement.- Track record of working closely with product and sales leaders to drive measurable impact.- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
