Role & responsibilities Main responsibilities: Quality Inspection and Auditing Conduct comprehensive inspections at three stages: incoming materials, in-process production (dye house and final winding), and final products to ensure adherence to quality specifications. Perform regular in-process quality audits on machinery and processes in the dye house and final winding to identify deviations and ensure quality standards are met. Execute the machine release process for dyeing and winding equipment after performing thorough inspections to confirm readiness for production. Process Control and Testing Oversee and control dyeing process parameters, such as chemical usage and temperature, to maintain consistency and prevent quality issues. Perform color matching and inspections to ensure dyed thread batches meet the specified shade and consistency. Conduct colorfastness testing to verify the product's performance and durability according to requirements. Evaluate, monitor, and conduct trend analysis on technological parameters and test results to proactively identify process variations and areas for improvement. Compliance Collaborate with third-party agencies (e.g., ITS, SGS, BV labs) to conduct audits and ensure compliance with end-buyer requirements and Restricted Substances Lists (RSL). Assist the Quality Head in implementing and maintaining various Quality Management Systems (QMS) and certifications, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, Oeko-Tex, Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Higg Index (HIGG), and other buyer-specific audits. Manage the calibration of all testing instruments to ensure their accuracy and reliability in accordance with relevant standards and procedures. Actively involve the QA team in promoting and adhering to health and safety initiatives, ensuring 100% compliance with factory safety standards. Non-conformance and Continuous Improvement Manage all non-conforming products identified during the dyeing and final winding processes. Lead root cause analysis investigations for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence. Utilize statistical tools to evaluate quality trends and monitor in-process quality performance. Manage new product development, controlled evaluation of new materials or vendors, and process changes to ensure quality is maintained throughout. Handle customer complaints by investigating issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing CAPA to resolve problems and improve customer satisfaction. Training and Development Provide training for the workforce, including quality assurance, inspection, and production teams, on end-use applications, product knowledge, and quality awareness. Oversee induction training for new workers and implement mistake-proofing techniques to enhance product quality and consistency.
