Head of Finance

As the Head of Finance at iamneo.ai, you will play a crucial role in leading the financial governance, reporting, compliance, and operational excellence of our rapidly growing B2B EdTech SaaS company. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely and accurate financial closures, driving compliance across statutory frameworks, and establishing scalable finance systems to support the business's growth. Your key responsibilities will involve monthly closing tasks such as preparing Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Cashflow statements, variance analysis, and other reports as per management formats. You will also be responsible for quarterly financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparing Advance Tax and Provision for Tax. Additionally, you will oversee the annual financial statements preparation complying with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and coordinate with external auditors for smooth audit processes. Ensuring compliance with various regulations such as the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and LODR will be a critical aspect of your role. You will also be required to liaise with internal teams and external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits and submissions. Collaborating with leadership and internal stakeholders to provide financial insights that aid decision-making and strategic planning will be essential. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8-10 years of experience in financial reporting, compliance, and operations, preferably in a listed company. You should have proven expertise in financial closures, preparation of statutory financial statements under Ind AS, and exposure to O2C and P2P processes. Experience in handling statutory audits with Big 4 or equivalent firms, along with in-depth knowledge of relevant acts and regulations, is required. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (preferably SAP), strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are also necessary.
